Most people never notice the work Paraskevi Tsatsopita does. It hides in the half second before someone adds a product to a cart, in the sentence above a checkout button, in the version of a page that quietly outperforms the one it replaced. Conversion rate optimisation is an unglamorous trade, measured in percentage points rather than headlines. It is also, increasingly, the difference between a consumer brand that survives its own ad spend and one that does not.
Tsatsopita, 47, has co-owned ConvertPolo and sat on its advisory board since August 2023, working from Ellicott City, Maryland, while the firm's operating team runs out of India. The agency works on a single question for its clients: of the people already arriving at a website, how many can be persuaded to act, and what exactly persuades them.
The company she co-owns
ConvertPolo was founded in 2023 by Anirban Chakraborty and Saurabh Patwa and incorporated in India in February 2024. It sells three things: conversion programmes, landing page work, and a brand studio that builds first websites for early-stage founders. Its published track record is a tally of experiments rather than awards: more than 1,200 tests run, more than 140 websites optimised, and a client list that runs from Decathlon to a long tail of direct-to-consumer labels.

In February 2025 the firm announced a strategic partnership with Wingify, the company behind the experimentation platform VWO, which counts more than 4,000 customers across eleven offices. For an agency not yet two years old at the time, being named a partner by the platform its own work runs on was a credential that arrived early.

Why she is on the list
Ownership is the short answer. Tsatsopita is a co-owner and advisory board member of a young agency in a field where most senior women are employed rather than vested, and she is doing it from a Maryland suburb rather than from either of the industry's usual centres of gravity. Her working title, senior business development manager, describes the other half of the job: the unshowy business of turning a technical practice into signed clients.
The second answer is timing. Paid acquisition has grown more expensive every year that consumer brands have existed online, and the arithmetic has pushed attention back toward the traffic a brand already has. That shift is the whole premise of the business she co-owns.
What we have not asked her yet
This profile is built from the public record and from what Tsatsopita states about her own role. The interview, in which she gets to describe the work in her own words, is still to come. GLAD will publish it alongside the remaining forty-nine.
